Your dog knows what to do. You still struggle to get the same results.
Most training teaches the dog. Far less teaches the person on the other end of the leash. Train the Handler closes that gap: clear communication, steady timing, and the confidence to use what your dog already knows.
- Your dog finished training here and listens better for the trainer than for you.
- Your dog was trained somewhere else and you were only shown the basics at pickup.
- You want a structured refresher so your dog's training doesn't fade.
Communication and timing
Read your dog's body language, give consistent cues, and reward at the right moment.
Leash handling
Position, direction changes, and a loose leash around everyday distractions.
Keeping obedience consistent
Why a dog performs for the trainer but not for you, and how to close that gap.
Real-world decisions
Spot triggers early, manage distance, and keep a situation calm before it escalates.
Handling on your own
You work the routines without us directing every move, then get feedback and a personal maintenance plan.
Three private lessons. One clear result.
Each lesson is 60 minutes, one-on-one. At the end, you handle your dog through a set routine on your own and we score your cue timing, leash handling, and confidence.
Lesson 1: Communicate
Cues, timing, and reading your dog, so your signals mean the same thing every time.
Lesson 2: Handle
Leash skills and positioning, practiced in the neighborhood and around distractions.
Lesson 3: Take the lead
You run the routines independently, we score your handling, and you leave with a maintenance plan.
Simple, upfront pricing.

Veteran-owned, built on handler discipline.
All American K9 is veteran-owned. Professional working-dog programs know that training the dog is only half of building a team, and the course brings that handler mindset to everyday owners. It is inspired by that approach, adapted for pet dogs and the real places you walk them.
Meet the trainerDoes my dog need to be trained already?
This course is built for dogs that already know basic commands, whether they trained with us or with another company. If your dog's history is unclear, we'll start with an evaluation and recommend the right fit.
What if my dog is reactive or aggressive?
Handler training isn't a fix for aggression or significant reactivity. If that's your situation, we'll point you to a behavior assessment first, so your dog gets the right plan.
What happens after I check availability and eligibility?
You'll answer two quick questions and share a few details about you and your dog. We confirm the course fits your dog, then reach out about availability and scheduling your first lesson.
Where do lessons take place?
Lessons are one-on-one with a trainer, in Orlando and across Central Florida. We'll confirm the location and your service area when you book.
I already did a board and train with you. Do I have to buy this?
No. Your program already includes owner instruction. Train the Handler is extra coaching and independent practice for owners who want to build stronger handling skills.
